temp e-mail

if you need a temporary e-mail address, this is the one!
clipped from 10minutemail.com
By clicking on the link below, you will be given a temporary e-mail address. Any e-mails sent to that address will show up automatically on the web page. You can read them, click on links, and even reply to them. The e-mail address will expire after 10 minutes.

Why would you use this? Maybe you want to sign up for a site which requires that you provide an e-mail address to send a validation e-mail to. And maybe you don't want to give up your real e-mail address and end up on a bunch of spam lists. This is nice and disposable. And it's free. Enjoy!

Personality test

quite accurate!
clipped from noahgrey.com

Mind Games

First, get a blank piece of paper and a pen.
P.S. When you are asked to choose names, make sure it’s people you ACTUALLY KNOW, and go with your first instincts!
1.) First, write the numbers 1 through 11 in a column.
2.) Then, beside numbers 1 and 2, write any two numbers you want.
3.) Beside the 3 and 7, write down the names of members of the opposite sex if you’re straight, or the same sex if you’re gay. Remember, put down the first names that come to mind.
4.) Write anyone’s name (like friends or family...) in the 4th, 5th and 6th spots. Don’t cheat or you’ll be upset that you did. Again, go with your first instincts.
5.) Write down four song titles in 8, 9, 10 and 11.
And here is the key for the game ...

faster firefox

how to fasten your firefox download time
clipped from www.pctipsbox.com

Start rendering pages faster
Creating an nglayout.initialpaint.delay integer preference lets you control how long Firefox waits before starting to render a page. If this value isn’t set, Firefox defaults to 250 milliseconds, or 0.25 of a second. Some people report that setting it to 0 i.e., forcing Firefox to begin rendering immediately causes almost all pages to show up faster. Values as high as 50 are also pretty snappy.

hack: backdoor access

still trying to make it works via my firefox...
clipped from www.smilegods.com

Nice little trick you can use to get past the registration requirements of many websites.

You can change your Browser Identification string in the windows registry so web sites think you are a google webbot.

You will need to change it back to use the Windows Update site (automatic updates still work).

save this as browser.reg:
CODE
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Micro$oft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\User Agent]
@="Googlebot/2.1"
"Compatible"="+http://www.googlebot.com/bot.html"

To undo:
CODE
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Micro$oft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\User Agent]
@="Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1)

Opera has this functionality built in. Firefox users can download this extension to change the user agent: http://useragentswitcher.mozdev.org/

tips: affordable business class ticket

save your money!

First-class for Pesos
First-class for Pesos
The peso isn't the only undervalued Mexican currency. Mexicana Airlines' Frecuenta mileage program can help you travel the world in business or first class for a fraction of the normal price.

You don't even have to set foot on a Mexicana plane, according to Matthew Bennett of Firstclassflyer.com. That's because you can buy frequent-flier miles from Mexicana for a bargain 1.6 cents each (on other carriers it's more than 2.5 cents) and use them to fly airlines like American, Air Canada, Air New Zealand, Singapore and Lufthansa.

Here's how it works. Say you want to fly from Los Angeles to Tokyo first class on Singapore Air. By buying 120,000 miles at 1.6 cents, you'd spend only $1,920, vs. $12,565 for a typical fare. There's no limit to how many miles you can buy, but it can be difficult to find frequent-flier seats, so check availability first.

finally, it's back online. after several weeks of blackouts, we can access this page again from china!

the problem with me now: i've made several posting at the chinese blog site, and i don't know whether i should migrate them here... :( besides, who knows when this site is going to be blocked again in the future... >sigh<...

therefor, i've decided to dedicate this blog especially for my clipmark.

this blog is being blocked (again) in china... :(

after several trials during the past several days, i'm now sure that this blog - as well as several other most popular blogs - can't be accessed from china... :(

sure, we can still make a roundway through http://www.pkblogs.com/life15beautiful, but i find it too troublesome...

therefor, i'd sadly announce here that for the meantime i'll move my blog to another site, http://life15beautiful.blog.sohu.com/, until i'm sure that this can be accessed without problem. yes, no english version of the interface, since it's a chinese sites, but that's all we got now...

chinese vs english...

If you happened to be here in China, every now and then you will find a funny translation, just like these two:

Fortunately, the government has noticed this and asked a team of english professional to do some adjustment. Therefor, in the near future, we might won't be able to amuze ourselves with 'chinglish' no more...

Life is beautiful...

This is my first page, my first blog.
Besides curiousity (want to follow the trends...:), I just want to share the beautiful sides of life, my life. And hopefully it can be contagious, that you can also say the phrase together with me:
